Check out how immigrants from different world regions and countries fare on the Austrian labor market. Based on extensive administrative data (see below) we can observe immigration to Austria between 2000 and 2017 and analyze labor market activities of prime-working age individuals until the end of 2018. Web applications allow for user defined inquiries to visualize yearly averages of employment, unemployment and out-of-labor force across various subgroups according to origin country, year of immigration, age group, gender, marital status, and education.
This web app shows the labor market performance of immigrants for aggregated world regions and sub-regions (the classification draws on categories used by the UN, but includes additional geographical entities like “Middle East”, “Arabia” and “Maghreb”). Click on the Image below to start this app!
